
Motho Kimotho | Investment/Financial Advisor/Coach
Motho is an alumnus of St Mary’s School Nairobi and holds a BSC in International Business Administration and Finance from United States International University – Africa (USIU). He started his career at Dyer & Blair as an equity portfolio manager and went on to form his own investment advisory company, Cross Sector Wealth Management Limited, and recently Course Correct Consulting Ltd.
He has 15 years’ experience in trading local and regional equities as well broad-based experience in other asset class investment sectors such as land and real estate, unit trusts, government securities and insurance policies. He trains and coaches on management of personal finances and debt and partners with corporate players in this field such as Centonomy on this module. He partners with clients to build well diversified investment portfolios leveraging on good relationships he has with reputed industry players like African Alliance, Britam, EFG, Equity Bank, Genghis Capital.
He is an entrepreneur owns his own dairy farm, Moka Dairy Delights Limited, a motorbike imports company, Ancient Exclusives and a high-end house ware retail company, Just Cool Stuff. He has firsthand experiential knowledge on the analysis and assessment of budding business ventures.
He advises high net worth individuals, young professionals, people transitioning to retirement, distressed businesses on turn around strategies, collaborated with partners on real estate development financial modelling, aggregated like-minds to form investment companies that have pooled resources to acquire land strategically and diversified portfolios. He has also worked with “chamas” on creation and implementation of strategic financial goals to guide the use of contributions to income generating investments.
