Dr. Ruth Irungu is a dental surgeon who earned her Bachelors from University of Nairobi in 2005 and a Global MBA from University of London. She also holds a post graduate diploma in Advanced Health Management from the Strathmore Business School and a CPA 1 qualification. She has over 15 years experience as a dentist working in public, mission and private institutions. She is currently the dental head of department in a public facility where she specialises in general dentistry. Dr. Irungu manages a private hospital in Nairobi that provides medical and dental services to a growing population. She is currently involved in growing the hospital from outpatient clinic to opening of inpatient facilities. She champions using evidence based strategic management in healthcare leveraging on her wide experience in dental care.
Dr.Irungu is a member of the Kenya Dental association and finds time away from her schedule to connect with nature.
