Dr. Mercy Naswa Makhanu - BDS , Cert. in Implantology, MScD-Periodontics
Dr. Makhanu holds a bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery from the University of Nairobi, Kenya, and a Master’s degree in Periodontics from the University of the East, Philippines. Furthermore, she has a certificate in implant dentistry from Trinon Titanium GmbH Implantology, Manila, Philippines. She has published several scientific research articles in peer-reviewed journals and made presentations both locally and internationally. She is a lecturer in the department of Community Preventive Dentistry and Periodontology at Moi University School of dentistry, Kenya. She has over 12 years experience of practicing dentistry. She is currently a director and consultant periodontist at The Dental Specialists’ Centre Eldoret, Kenya. Her main areas of research interest include; Periodontal surgery, regenerative periodontics, Periodontics microsurgery and dental education.
