Course Description
In Universities, we have not been prepared to be entrepreneurs. But we open an office and have to compete. Some of you are lucky and compete against other “amateurs”, e.g. other dentists. Still, others are in countries where regulations even allow taxi drivers to open a dental office, making everything a pure business. You, as a dentist, must compete against “real” entrepreneurs.
This course gives you a mindset and ideas about the fundamentals of dental business management, personal branding, marketing and the sales process.
We will give you tips that open up and may change the way you do business until now. But if you can implement one or two of these ideas, this will bring you more patients, which means much more revenue over the years.

Course duration:
1. Dental Practice Management – This course will be offered for 3days a week and spread over 9 Weeks
Course lead: Dr. Ruth Irungu – BDS,GLOBAL MBA and staff.
Course organiser: Dental Aptitude College
Course capacity: Up to 100 Participants.
Course requirements: An undergraduate degree course in dentistry which includes but is not limited to BDS, DMD, or its equivalent.
NOTE: Learning formats involving videos, cases, and animations, as well as frameworks and tools designed for reflection and exploration, will bring out the highest levels of learning impact with a minimum investment of time.
You can monitor your learning progress through engaging quizzes, exercises and assignments.

How much does the program cost?
Each module has its own cost, as indicated below. The price might change depending on the edition you choose.
• Registration fee is Ksh. 1,000 (10USD)- Non-refundable
• Dental Practice Management – 7 Units -Ksh. 100,000 (1,000USD)

Cancellation policy
We require a 1-month cancellation notice before the day of graduation. After 1 month, we will charge a cancellation fee as below.
• If you cancel 8 days to 1 month before graduation day: 50% of your total amount.
• If you cancel 1 to 7 days before the hands-on day: 70% of your total.
• If you cancel on the day or no show, or if you do not notify us about your cancellation: 100% of your total amount.
• The Academy reserves the right to cancel or postpone a course due to unforeseen circumstances.
